Updated Minimum ACS Score required to qualify for membership of The ACS Pacesetters

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) has published the Scoring Chart for the Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) accredited companies for the year ending 30 September 2021.

These results have reduced the minimum criteria required to qualify for membership of The ACS Pacesetters from 108 to 101 (the previous score was based on statistics published up to 31st March 2021).  We believe this to be as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic delaying annual inspections and on-site auditor visits as the previous statistics were based on just 279 companies and not the total number of companies who currently hold the accreditation.

The SIA ACS scheme provides a recognised hallmark of quality within the private security industry and each company is assessed against 78 achievement indicators. These cover topics as diverse as staff training, financial management and the company’s health and safety policies.  The maximum score achievable is +145.

Members of The ACS Pacesetters have all achieved a score in the top 15% of companies inspected via the standard route and are the market leaders in the contract security industry.  Click here to find a list of our members.
