Security Guard Fraud exposed by undercover BBC researchers

BBC investigation has found that thousands of licenced security guards could be working in the UK after buying qualifications for cash enabling them to apply for fraudulent SIA licences.

Jobseekers must sit mandatory exams to get a Security Industry Authority card. Undercover researchers found colleges happy to sit or forge exams for untrained students for a fee.

The researcher obtained an SIA licence enabling him to apply for security postions at a Power Station and Canary Wharf.

The programme will be aired at 7.30 on Monday, 23 March.
