Daniel Mawataur named as Octavian’s Employee of the Year

Leading security provider Octavian Security has named Daniel Mawataur as its Employee of the Year, the top accolade for its 750 strong workforce.

The company, which has for many years lead the way for employee development in the security industry, chose Daniel from a group of 12 other candidates for the award, all of whom have won the Employee of the Month title during 2012. Daniel was chosen for his work with logistics network UPS and his professionalism. He also impressed an external auditor from aviation security specialist Redline, which is a key sector for Octavian. “We are fortunate to have so many great employees that it’s always hugely difficult to choose an overall winner,” said Tony Mellor, commercial director at Octavian Security. “However, Daniel has impressed us with his professional, assertive attitude and his excellent understanding of his roles and responsibilities.” Group GEO and owner Sukhi Ghuman also added his congratulations, saying: “Daniel is a showcase for what we strive for in our staff development at Octavian Security, and I am sure that he will be a welcome role model for many other employees.” The Employee of the Year title is particularly prestigious at the company and in the security industry. Daniel also received a monetary prize as well as a commemorative plaque from Octavian’s Chief Operating Officer, Jot Engelbrecht. For more details on Octavian visit www.octaviangroup.com.
