CIS Security has successfully been selected to provide security services to London Borough of Camden’s corporate buildings, commercial properties and hostels with effect from November 2011.
Camden is a borough of immense contrast and diversity. The borough’s 8 square miles stretch from the commercial and business centers of Tottenham Court Road, New Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Fitzrovia and Holborn in the south, to the exclusive residential districts of Hampstead and Highgate in the north. The London Borough of Camden provides a host of public services to the inhabitants and stakeholders within Camden. The council are actively involved in many areas such as local education, housing, the environment, transport, policing and public safety.
The range of security services required is as diverse as the Borough itself, from front of house Corporate Services and Hostel Concierge, to facilitating visits from VIP’s, and delivering a security service for a number of events held at the popular Camden Centre.
The contract was awarded following a competitive tender processes for a period of three years. For CIS their experience of providing security services to Local Authorities and their forward thinking innovative proposals to enhance the service delivery provided the winning bid.
The synergies of service that CIS can provide due to their neighbouring clients such as University College London and their and extensive portfolio within Bloomsbury, Holborn, and Kings Cross will provide a unique security network in and around the Borough. With the 2012 Games fast approaching there are exciting times ahead for CIS and London Borough of Camden stakeholders and residents!
