ACS Pacesetters charity raffle raised £1070 for Medical Detection Dogs

At the ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards lunch which took place on Tuesday, 24 May, a charity raffle was held with all proceeds going to Medical Detection Dogs.

Sue Surbey, accompanied by her assistance dog Casper, attended the lunch and gave us an insight into how these dogs allow people suffering from life threatening illnesses to lead independent lives. The charity also trains dogs to detect the early signs of cancer. A total of £1,070.00 was raised on the day from the proceeds of a raffle.
